Shore fishing in Saint-Cast-le-Guildo

At low tide, the wide beaches and small coves of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo turn into a real playground for shore fishing enthusiasts. Shells, clams, winkles, and crabs hide under the sand or between the rocks, to the delight of both children and adults.
Armed with a bucket and a clam knife, explore the foreshore while respecting fishing zones and size regulations.
Remember to check the tide times before you go, so you can enjoy your shore fishing trip safely and to the fullest.

The Grand Aquarium of Saint-Malo

Located at the entrance of the corsair city, the Grand Aquarium of Saint-Malo is one of Brittany’s main family attractions. It invites both young and old on a fascinating journey through the world’s oceans.
More than 10,000 marine animals live in spectacular tanks, ranging from the abyssal depths to colorful tropical reefs.

Fort La Latte

Perched on a cliff facing the sea, Fort La Latte is one of the most emblematic monuments of the Côtes-d’Armor. Situated at the tip of Cap Fréhel, this 14th-century fortress proudly overlooks the Emerald Coast and offers an exceptional panorama of the sea and surrounding cliffs.

Cap Fréhel

Located on the Emerald Coast, Cap Fréhel is one of the most spectacular natural sites in Brittany. Its high pink sandstone cliffs, plunging over 70 meters into the sea, offer a magnificent view of the English Channel and, on clear days, as far as the islands of Bréhat and Jersey.
The site is also a major ornithological reserve.

The Grande Plage of Saint-Cast

Located in the heart of the seaside resort, the Grande Plage of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Emerald Coast. With its 2 km of fine sand, it provides an ideal setting for swimming, walks, and water activities.
Facing south, the beach enjoys generous sunshine throughout the day. In summer, it is supervised and lined with a pleasant promenade.

The Customs Path

The Customs Path (GR34) runs along the Breton coast and offers Saint-Cast-le-Guildo spectacular views across heathlands, cliffs, and wild coves. Ideal for a seaside walk, it allows visitors to discover the full natural beauty of the Emerald Coast.
